The nine artisan wineries and cideries of the Olympic Peninsula invite you to join them to Sip and Savor the Flavors of Fall. The Olympic Peninsula Harvest Wine and Cider Tour will take place on November 10 and 11, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The region’s finest winemakers have expertly matched locally made wines brimming with character with mouth-watering harvest inspired appetizers with many locally sourced ingredients. As you drink in the bounty of all harvest has to offer, you will be amazed by the beauty of fall on the Olympic Peninsula, from breathtaking mountains to the mesmerizing Salish Sea.
Tickets for this self guided tour are available in advance for $35 or $40 at the door. These tickets include a souvenir wine glass, complimentary tastings at each winery as well as the harvest inspired food pairings. Visitors who get their ticket stamped at all nine locations will be entered into a drawing for a harvest inspired gift basket. Purchase tickets here.
All venues will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day for the tour and some venues may have extended hours for non-tour visits. Tasting fees for those not participating in the ticketed event will be $10 per person at each winery or cidery.
The Olympic Peninsula Wineries encourage responsible wine touring and recommend that you have a designated driver in your group. Designated drivers do not need to purchase a ticket and are always welcome to taste the food. While children are allowed in the tasting rooms, you must be 21 or over to purchase tickets and/or participate in wine and cider tasting.

Port Townsend Vineyards: Port Townsend Vineyards looks forward to celebrating harvest season with guests during the Olympic Peninsula Wineries Harvest Tour. We’ll be pouring our newly released 2016 Chardonnay and 2016 Pinot Noir, and finishing up with the first vintage of our Portuguese Hill Estate Blend, served alongside local snacks. Our Discovery Room Pavilion will be warm and toasty, so you can sit back and savor the season.
Stick around at the winery on Saturday for live music from 5pm-7pm with ‘Kirk & Kompany’! Elliot “Kirk” Kuykendall is a professional upright and electric bassist and Bandleader with over 30 years of experience performing his brand of live entertainment internationally and throughout the U.S. and Canada. Kirk has toured extensively with groups ranging from Cirque du Soleil to Ray Charles. Music is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you at the winery. Cheers!”
Finnriver Farms: Enjoy the harvest of the orchard at the Finnriver Cider Garden, with seasonal craft cider releases that feature Washington organic fruit and traditional cider apples from our 50 acre Chimacum Valley farm. We will offer tour visitors a slice of woodfired pizza hot out of the Dented Buoy oven, made with local seasonal ingredients. Finish your tasting with a hot cider cocktail with our oak-aged apple or pear wine.
Harbinger Winery: While our main focus is producing mind-blowing wines, we at Harbinger Winery believe strongly in the beauty and goodness of locally grown and prepared foods. In theme with the celebration of the bounty we are serving up Slow-Cooked Pot Roast with Nash’s Root Vegetables, Apple & Chevre Bites, Wild Mushroom and Sausage Quiche, and a gluten-free Cookie that will change any skewed perceptions of a flourless lifestyle. Think of it as a palatial tour of the northwest bounty! These dishes have been prepared to match exceptionally with our wines. We are excited to share this gastronomic festival with you!
FairWinds Winery: FairWinds winery is all about pumpkin harvest! We have teamed up with Onatrue Farm in Port Townsend, serving pumpkin soup made with FairWinds Chardonnay with hints of ginger and accompanied with cinnamon croutons for a sweet and spicy flavor. Then we will be pairing Gewürztraminer with pumpkin muffins for a delightful explosion of pumpkin heaven. Come out and see us for games, great harvest food and award-winning wines!
Marrowstone Vineyards: Back by popular demand, Marrowstone Vineyards will be pairing our wines with savory bites by The Silverwater Café where the food is crafted using the finest and freshest ingredients. We have 4 new wines for your sampling pleasure; Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petite Syrah and a delicious red blend. Come enjoy the beauty of autumn, along with delicious wine, good friends and a wondrous view.
Olympic Cellars: Olympic Cellars welcomes you to celebrate the harvest with a new wine release; Our 2014 Zinfandel is a delicious and rare 100% Washington State Zinfandel. You will enjoy vivid aromas of blackberry, strawberry, hints of sandalwood and vanilla. The lush, full palate is full of the flavors of juicy plum, sun-kissed raisin, spice and balanced acids. We also announce the release of our new vintage of Dungeness Red, 2016. Both are perfect wines for the holidays. A wide variety of other wines will be available to choose from, including Cranberry Jubilee wine and warm, spiced Dungeness Red which creates a wonderful holiday mood. Pair the warm, spiced Dungeness Red with cranberry shortbread bites and be prepared to enjoy an adult PB&J created with Elliot’s Adult Nut Butters and a selection of fruit spreads.
Wind Rose Cellars: Wind Rose Cellars will be pouring six wines during the Harvest Wine Tour: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Barbera, Malbec, Bravo Rosso and Muscato. Our Barbera is a new release! We will have some of our award winning wines on discount, up to 20% off. Our wines are very limited in production, many just around 100 cases. We will be pairing some of our wines with food from local restaurants. We will also have our VIP bar where you can taste more of our award-winning wines with the winemaker for an additional fee.
Friday and Saturday nights, we have music planned from 7-9 pm to extend the fun. On Friday night we have Dawn Martin, local musician that performs a wide range of songs from 60’s & 70’s that has been called, “Highly entertaining and very popular.” Saturday night we have “Pavlo Dobro”, local duo from Port Angeles. They play a mixture of R&B, Rock and a mixture of everything in between. We strongly suggest reservations, please call 360-681-0690.
Eaglemount Winery and Cidery: Eaglemount Winery and Cidery will be open and participating in the 2018 Harvest Wine and Cider Tour with a selection of their wines and ciders made from local heirloom fruit. They will have tasting bites made with London Maid Crumpets, a delicious, low calorie and vegan foundation for any topping you choose!
Camaraderie Cellars: Camaraderie Cellars celebrates the bounty of the harvest pairing great wines with yummy fall foods. Gather with friends around the fire pit or in our Ridge Room to sip and savor, enjoying the beautiful fall colors in the gardens. Wines featured will be the newly released 2015 Sangiovese, our 2014 Merlot, and some other favorites to pair with your upcoming holiday meals. Special pricing on wines will help fill your cellar. Back by popular demand will be the Turkey Pumpkin Chili and the Wisconsin pheasant sausage. There will be a special bite to celebrate the new release of our friend Kate McDermott’s new cookbook “Home Cooking.”
